Cider's been making a comeback here. I have the fridge well stocked with it. Tastes good for "low carb" alcohol (although that's asinine anyway, as alcohol ends up being a carbohydrate).

I used to drink when I was younger and my last drink would have been some sort of beer but its been that long that I don't remember anymore. The taste isn't good, the price is too high, and the effects aren't worth it.

Boddingtons. It was cheap. It also tasted like nothing, but went down easily. Too easily.

Hah. Here, cheap beer definitely has a taste. Namely, it has the taste of gasoline.

I don't think it's normally especially cheap but it was on sale in ASDA, 24 cans for £10.

It's weird, it has the texture and peculiar frothing characteristic of a porter or stout-porter, but the colouring of pale ale.

Ok, I was wrong. Although to be entirely fair, that doesn't discount the possibility of congeners (which exist in the vast, vast, vast majority of alcoholic beverages) being metabolised into carbs.

It was AWESOME. I had a green chili lager before that one that was pretty tasty as well.

I'm from Australia. Virtually all of the mainstream popular beers are lagers, and Guinness is the only well known stout. Ales and other stouts are generally from small regional breweries.

Ironically, my favourite beer is probably Newcastle Brown.

Hah, yeah, it's almost impossible to get here. Nobody drinks it. Carlton Draught is the beer of choice in my state.
