Aren't higher GPAs better?

Its a bite different here.

Wait...

I'm in Canada and while my school didn't do a four point GPA, we did do higher number = better.

In no particular order:

Get through the damn surgery sane and intact
Finish up my novel
Work on getting into a program for the priesthood
Start a political party/organization
Lose weight
Something directly tied to the above: get a girlfriend.

I'm going to spend at least one hour a night working on serious writing, on one or both of the two projects I have going, if not more. And I am going to get published somewhere, somehow. Tired of waiting, tired of putting things off, and tired of working for someone else doing things that I may be good at, but in the end, hate doing.

And having read up on the e-publishing, and the money that can be made there, having better percentages given than what the paper print industry is willing to do? Along with the lady who made the NY Bestsellers list and over $140k on a book she sold for $.99 as an e-book? Yeah. Enough of all this banking, and officing, and assorted other-ings when at heart, I am an artist and an author, and ain't nothing gonna stomp that out of me entirely. *shakes fist in defiance*

My New Year's resolution is to make New Year's resolutions for only those people who have not made resolutions for themselves.

New Year's Resolutions?

Postby Imperial Parhe » Tue Dec 27, 2011 2:56 pm

1. Lose weight. I got up to 162 pounds not that i quit playing tennis. I hate being one of the fattest boys in my class. :(
2. Get back into the top twenty students in my grade.
3. To get back to making Alternate Histories; took a big hit when I fund NationStates
4. Go back to sticking to RP's on this site and not abandoning them
5. Finish books that I start.
6. Push up my SAT score to at least twenty two hundred
7. Find a part time job, maybe as a waiter.
8. Try to get colored lenses.
9. Maybe get eyelid surgery if my parents allow.
10. Get a boyfriend, who understands it is not serious.
11. Stop crouching and fix my neck's ugliness.
12. Master the cello and learn the piano.
13. And, last, continue making puppet nations on this site.

Kind of sad that some of my resolutions are about some online nation simulating game.

I have no reason to change. I'm already perfect.

Okay, maybe I should take my calcium pills more often. But other than that. >.>

Mine is to force the Mayans to make a new calendar.
"My loathings are simple: stupidity, oppression, crime, cruelty, soft music."
- Vladimir Nabokov US (1899 - 1977)
Also, me.
“Man has such a predilection for systems and abstract deductions that he is ready to distort the truth intentionally, he is ready to deny the evidence of his senses only to justify his logic”
- Fyodor Dostoyevsky Russian Novelist and Writer, 1821-1881
"All Clock Faces Are Wrong." - Gene Ray, Prophet(?) http://www.timecube.com
A simplified maxim on the subject states "An atheist would say, 'I don't believe God exists'; an agnostic would say, 'I don't know whether or not God exists'; and an ignostic would say, 'I don't know what you mean when you say, "God exists" http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ignosticism

I plan to write a novel and get it published. I also have a good idea for a self-help book, and since I've already done the research I could probably get it done in a few short months. The novel is what I really want to get done, though.

Venicilian: wow. Jesus hung around with everyone. boys, girls, rich, poor(mostly), sick, healthy, etc. in fact, i bet he even went up to gay people and tried to heal them so they would be straight.
The Parkus Empire: Being serious on NSG is like wearing a suit to a nude beach.
New Kereptica: Since power is changed energy over time, an increase in power would mean, in this case, an increase in energy. As energy is equivalent to mass and the density of the government is static, the volume of the government must increase.
