New Year's Resolutions?

It is that time of year again: what is your New Year's Resolutions?

Alternatively, what puts you off from making one?

In my opinion, a core reason for not making one is the potential for sudden change. In fact in 2010 I did not expect to continue education, and had I resolved to go travelling, university wouldn't have let me achieve it. Also, losing weight is definitely out because of the workload.

I don't make New Year's resolutions because they're trivial. If I want something done I'll start doing it, no need to plan things out I'll eventually not care about later on.

I never have make any New Year's resolutions except to enjoy the people I love more than the year before.

I'd say I flunked it miserably this year, too.

My goal for 2011 was to lose 75 lbs, but I only lost 60. So I will be committing to losing that last 15 in 2012.

I'll have to check, but I'm pretty sure I failed to keep any of my new year's resolutions last year.

My only resolution this year (that I am determined to keep) will be to finish and defend my thesis before my funding runs out. eep!

I have never actually made one of this before, but I think it is time to start making one. I will be starting college on January 4th and my goal will be to have a GPA of 2.0 or less at the end of my first college year. Furthermore, I will like to move out on my own this year.
