SOPA Bill(Internet Censorship.Your Opinion.

SOPA is a bill that will allow the US government to censor the internet and sent people to jail for like 5 years for just uploading a video on youtube or posting a comment on facebook.I'm from Croatia and I'm against any form of internet censorship.

There was one thread about SOPA which went to 14 pages. It was back in November though.

Then there were several which all died after just a few posts. It's censorship!

My opinion? It's fucking stupid. The internet should be free from the grasps of government. Furthermore, our Congress is too inept to know what the hell they are doing with regards to the internet.

I'm all for it because I'm intelligent enough to recognise it doesn't have a hope of achieving anything beyond making the Americans who spam these threads very, very mad.

And its always a special kind of poster banging on about this isn't it; the kind who takes on any popular internet cause with the bare minimum facts they gleamed off reddit or whatever site the kids use these days.
