find the president of the US. Force him to launch nuclear missiles all around the world while i chill with a few friends in an underground base within a mountain. Then after the world has been nuked to hell, i leave around 20 years later and suddenly realize that i've just entered something similar to the Fallout universe and laugh at the thought that my underground base could be seen as a vault and for the hell of it, i take yellow paint and paint on the number 666 onto the blast doors.

If any zombies are out there, they're probably being eaten away by radiation. Worst case is mutated but im sure with that many nukes, nearly everything would be dead.

President would be long gone before you'd reach DC, which in it's self would be heavily infected.

Good luck with that. Especially in urban environments I'd like to see you move fast enough to "quarantine" every nook and cranny, sewers, etc. If you want to follow Resident Evil, the virus could (like it did for Raccoon City - fuck the movies, they're wrong) transfer and be carried around through rats. Try stopping that.

There is a Problem with Nukes. The Nuclear Material would stay around for a Long Time so it would be a bad Idea.

Also, Nukes don't mutate things like it makes it seem in Video Games and Comics.
