Nothing, the weather outside my house right now would deal with any zombies. This December has been one of the coldest in years.

I live in South Florida, and my home is essentially zombie-proof thanks to shutters on every window (that takes less a minute total to put up) and a large amount of canned foods. I'd essentially ride out the first month or so before needing to venture out for supplies.

We're also due for a hurricane, which is a good source of hail and debris that can crack more than a few zombie skulls. I'd estimate the county's zombie population would drop to about 5% after one good hurricane. 50% if it's just a tropical storm.

My plan is as follows: I grab a backpack filled with everything I need, grab all the guns I can from the gun shop in my town, and start traveling. I would collect all the materials I can until I find a suitable house to be my base. I would cover all the windows/doors with bolted metal, fill the basement with gasoline, and attach explosives to the main supports for my plan B. If I become overwhelmed by zombies, I will light the gasoline and head to the roof where I will have a simple bridge connecting to the building next to me. I will cross the bridge and set off the explosives, causing the building to collapse. I will then start traveling again. In my opinion, if zombies did exist everyone would eventually die.
P.S. I have created a wonderful quiz to see how long you will last. Answer the following quetions and I will tell you how long you will survive.
What are your weapons (main + support weapon)? Will you travel? Are you friendly toward other survivors? Where will you have your base? What defenses will it have? What armour (light, heavy, ect.)? What extra supplies will you have (as in normal supplies: food, ammo, ect.)? What extra items will you have (as in army supplies: explosives, night gogles, ect.)? You see a uninfected man walking through town. He seems healthy, but only has a single pistol with one magazine left. He doesn't have any supplies and he seems hungry. What will you do?

In order to blow up that building, the building you built the bridge to would need to take some damage. Are you sure that that plan is practical?

If it's small, just a city-wide outbreak, I'd go for a .22 and maybe a handgun. I'd get in the car and run over zombies while getting out of my town.

If it's a world-wide invasion, I'd still have a .22 with a MP5 for CQB including a 9mm converter for it. Drive to nearest boat, and sail to some island in the Pacific. Then somehow make myself in charge of building the new center of technology and thinking on that island.

You do know a .22 is really that powerful, right? You probably want something bigger to shoot anything larger than a Bird.
