World War One, Iraq War, & Vietnam. Quite expected. Since WWI just involved, a group of related nationalistic gorillas, throwing their shit at each other, whilst the lions were led by donkeys :D And the fish war, between Iceland & Great Britain, although not a war, it was pretty stupid.

The Pig War. Search it up, probably the most retarded war ever to be held. Besides the war of the golden stool. Both involve britain haha. On the San Jose Islands I believe or some islands near vancouver. US and Britain fought over a shot pig. American shot a british pig and refused to pay and the war commenced. Want to know how it ended? They got bored and quit, both sides got bored

Indeed it was stupid for being two men fighting over a comb, although in one way you could say that its smallness is a sign of the state upholding its principles of citizenship- the state protecting its citizens with aircraft carriers and nuclear submarines despite the population being so small.

I'm taking the easy way out and going with Vietnam. I mean, Iraq was bad enough, but with Vietnam, we're talking about twice the length. Throw in the bureaucracy, government deceptions, (seriously, writing a resolution and then just filling in the blanks with "Gulf of Tonkin"?) and poor military strategy and you've got the perfect recipe for a twenty-year debacle.

And...begin!

Malgrave wrote:The invasion of Grenada was pointless.

The invasion of Grenada was not pointless in that, it was the forceful rollback of a communist coup and a rescue of US medical students. It overthrew a military dictatorship and swiftly restored constitutional government to Grenada. Overall, a splendid military operation which achieved it's objectives. Grenadians celebrate the US invasion as a national holiday, so they were largely for the intervention. The invasion was also supported by a number of Caribbean island nations against Cuba/Soviet Union's attempt to create another outpost for Marxism within the western hemisphere.
