My mum's Orcadian and my dad's English. Anything before that doesn't really matter, and to be honest it doesn't affect their or my lives in any way.

My mother is a Turkmen Alevi from Dersim (aka Tunceli). My father's ancestors were one of the Balkan immigrants who were expelled after the region was lost. They came to Istanbul later, he and me were born here. He believes that his ancestors were also Turkmen Alevi who had settled in Bulgaria, but there's no any evidence.

My paternal grandfather was from Japan. My paternal grandmother was the child of Italian immigrants to the US.

My maternal grandfather claims French-Indian ancestry somewhere, and my maternal grandmother claims all of Western Europe.

Mostly Ireland and Scotland, but also France, The Cherokee tribe, Britain, and...yeah that's about it.

It really doesn't matter much though, because the last ancestor of mine that was an immigrant to America died in the early 1800s. Some of my ancestors were living in America before then, even.

My mothers family were Dublin Irish, but counted as "anglo's" because somewhere back in the family tree was an English woman, and they were not Catholic.

My Father's family goes way back, Gascon English in origin, then moved to england in the mid 15th C, been here ever since.

My asshole father's family came from some place over in East Prussia (Records say somewhere around where Kalingrad now is), as well as present day Palestine/Israel, while my Maternal side can be traced to Illinois, further back to Ireland as well as France, The Netherlands, and Britain.

My ethnic roots are German, Native American, English, and possibly French. Anything else than that, I have no clue.

I call it the Western European Grab Bag: a nice heaping of everything from that part of the continent, and as such I don't identify with any one ethnicity. My surname's Scottish, so put a gun to my head and that's what I'll answer.

I am about 1/4 American (paternal grandmother), 1/4 British (paternal grandfather), 1/2 French being Quebec-French (maternal grandmother) and France-French (maternal grandfather).

I am the whitest possible combination.

Some place in former Prussia (Hoping it's not in modern-day Poland...), somewhere in Sweden, somewhere near Yorkshire in England, southern Ireland, and somewhere in Norway.
I'm boring and general.

My parents are from America. Two of my grandparents are also from America, the other two from... Germany and Poland I believe. One of my grandparents further claimed her parents in turn were from Czechoslovakia (still a country at the time she claimed this <_<) and Lithuania (not a country at the time she claimed this). Beyond that I don't have the faintest idea.

I don't know what ethnic roots I'd claim. Rather like living in the UK so maybe that.

Since you've listed four I'll assume it's about grandparents' birthplaces...

So,
Paderno Dugnano (province of Milano)
Affori (then in the province of Milano, now part of the city)
Milano
Trecella (province of Milano)

To many places to list in full. Some I know are the woodlands of New York, some town in Puerto Rico, and a farm someplace in Ireland, based generally on the stories I hear from elderly family members.
