This would have been fine if
a) the free kick leading to the goal was actually a free kick.

Well - Fletcher is allowed to go over the top of the ball, take out Cole's legs and then - because he points at the ball afterwards, not be blown up for the foul then - in your opinion.

So was he fouling Brown or was he offside? I don't see even Fergie could claim both, yet you are trying. As it was, he had absolutely no part in the goal - as your last objection makes clear.

Because if had been Drogba perhaps, just perhaps, you could find something to complain about. But as it was Terry then all your inaccurate snipes at Drogba are irrelevant anyway.
