oh and the NFL is still a monopoly.

Georgia Tech and their 1946 throwback offense would like to have a word with you.

Yeah, but, for Sports leagues, I actually rather prefer it...Allows for unified rules, etc...

And insanely high ticket prices.

If your stadium fits 80k peoples, it is wise to make ticket prices so that about 90-100k would want to see your games, that way you keep some demand and you can keep prices high thus increasing revenue.

No point in lowering prices so 500k people might wanna come to the game, if the stadium only fits 80k in the first place.

-Total annual income for the Jones family: $21,700
-Amount of money the Jones family spent: $38,200
-Amount of new debt added to the credit card: $16,500
-Outstanding balance on the credit card: $142,710

-Amount cut from the budget: $385

Praise the Lord! Illinois is going to beat a D-1 team! If we win out we'll be bowl elgible! There's always hope.

I had tickets to this game too but we didn't want to go because... they suck. Wish I would've went.

EDIT: If we play every week like we did today, we'll win out and go to a bowl! Unlikely to happen but crazier stuff has happened. Or at least equally crazy. But if we do win out, we will certainly go to a bowl considering to get 6 wins we have to beat Cincy and win four in a row.

IOWA. And Air Force won too. (almost, its pretty much decided now. Oh and my High School team is now 0-9, with 0-10 sure against state power Manheim Central who we have never beaten i believe. Anyways next season week 1 we will have a chance to break an 11 game skid. Because we are a lot better ten the seniors have been this season. Anyways Northwestern was up on State last time i checked, and go Michigan State. Bengals have a bye though, and Go Phillies.

I do like the GT offense. But the ACC has to many teams that can beat up on each other and we can never have one clear team that is good.

2 down 1 to go. The Eagles have been tearing up the NFC East. I'm liking the McCoy/Weaver combo, we might be able to use Westbrook as trade bait next year.

On worse news, the Phillies are down 2-1.

Mine too! *high fives*

That game was fun to watch, but honestly, if it wasn't for that fumbled kickoff, I don't think the Packers would have ever pulled close and made it a game.

I'm loving what Percy Harvin is doing for us...another great 1st round pick by the Vikes.

I'm loving what Percy Harvin is doing for you too, since I have him on my fantasy team. I'm somewhat distressed by rooting for Benedict Favre, though, so I mostly cheer for Harvin to have a billion return yards.

I see Rogers getting sacked so much, and my mind just starts wondering what week Favre would have gotten injured had he stayed in Green Bay having to play behind that o-line.

Why not changing them?

Liverpool Bears
Chelsea Lions
Manchester Cheesers
Newcastle Knights
Arsenal Soldiers
Blackburn Dragons
Westham Pigs

:)

That would be awesome. :D

YES! BRONCOS LOST!
The Earth is a very small stage in a vast cosmic arena. Think of the rivers of blood spilled by all those generals and emperors so that, in glory and triumph, they could become the momentary masters of a fraction of a dot. Think of the endless cruelties visited by the inhabitants of one corner of this pixel on the scarcely distinguishable inhabitants of some other corner, how frequent their misunderstandings, how eager they are to kill one another, how fervent their hatreds.- Carl Sagan
