They have on average 19,000 fans at each game, 3rd most in the MLS.

In other words, :lol2: .

emm thats alot..

If that's a lot for soccer... wow. The average capacity for an NFL stadium is around 60,000. Some college stadiums get all the way up to 100,000-110,000.

So do football stadiums.

But there are A:more soccer teams competing for fans
B:The league (MLS that is) is alot smaller than the NFL.

Wikie'd it a few minutes ago. There are some pretty big Association stadiums.

They used to hold MASSIVE amounts of fans back in the old terraced days, that was the good old days.

Barcelonas stadium held 250,000 when it was all standing.

Jesus Christ. That's a lot. I believe the largest college stadium is Beaver Stadium, or "Happy Valley", where Penn State plays. Largest NFL stadium is the new Cowboy's stadium.

The Terraces are why alot of people (the older generation) love the beautiful game there is nothing like standin shoulder to shoulder with somebody on the terraces and screaming your lungs out.

Soccer fans also tend to follow their teams in different ways than Gridiron fans do, teams are associated with political views, for Example my team Crusaders is generally the team of Unionists and Ulster Nationalist Workers in North Belfast, our rivals Cliftonville is associated with Roman Catholic Workers who where Irish Nationalists.

Teams like Glasgow Celtic and Rangers have a masive political rivalry too, as do Fernabace (I hope i spelled it right) and Galatasary of Turkey Fernabace has mostly Left wing fans and Galatasary mostly right wing fans.

Its the Same with AS Roma and Lazio of Italy, ok now im going on a bit.

Most of the rivalries in football are for bragging rights. Either that, or the usual good teams battling for a playoff or BCS spot. Of course, some of the rivalries are just between teams who have played each other for almost a century. The best rivalries in the NFL are between the Packers (yeah that's right) and Bears or Packers and Vikings. There's some other good ones in the NFC East too. You probably don't know a lot of the stuff I'm referring to though. Most rivalries are territorial, is basically what I'm saying.

Says you. It's pretty hard NOT to party with your shirt off, your body covered in green and gold paint, a cheesehat on your head, and a beer in your hand. In the snow. In a place nicknamed the Frozen Tundra.

We lost but thats not the important thing. We have San Diego next so a big win from Dallas means its still us versus them for the bye. Hopefully we can at least win one of the remaning games to at least get above 9 wins. Cinci should at least win 2 0f 3. So it looks good.
