Heck, one person I knew hated the game with a passion, and has now become one of the biggest footy fans I know. So, I really think that our problem is undoing all the negative publicity and stereotypes that the mainstream American media puts out about the game and then getting fans to the games. More advertising is definitely needed, as one of my friends is a huge footy fan, but had no idea that a national team game was being played in their city that day because there had been no advertising for it. That never would have happen anywhere else in the world.
