Semiserious question here

For the Thanksgiving classics, Shoudl there be new hosts for the games?

Detroit hasn't been relevant sine 1991, and the Cowboys borrowed the idea from them.

My Solution: Re-matches of the previous season's AFC and NFC championship games should be held on Thanksgiving. Would you rather see Steelers-Ravens and Eagles-Cardinals instead of The Packers destroying the Lions and the Raiders getting whipped by the Cowboys?

Personally, I'd rather cut out the regular season altogether and see the Pro Bowl moved to Thanksgiving and make it mean something (like in MLB), but that'll never happen, mainly due to injury concerns.

They have a shceduling thiong that would prevent that most years. Although this week could be turned into the 17th game and get ruid of one preseason. Pre determined games based on the previous years results. Matching up the teams in each league against tteams that ended up in the final weeks they did.

THe Pro Bowl is boring. They don't play hard anyway so what makes you think they will in mid-season?

Its not like their is a 7 game championship where homefield is advantageous. The only thing would be if the winning league would get to host the thing at home. I don't think its a good idea though. It is pretty pointless, and only 8 games you barely know half of the people who deserve it in the end.
