Vikings sign head coach Brad Childress to a three year extension, making him coach through the 2013 season.

I'm of mixed feelings...we've improved since he started coaching here, but we must remember his predecessor, Mike Tice, was a godawful coach and horrible at maintaining locker room discipline.

Childress is his own worst enemy, and is not the best play caller...his success will largely depend on if the Vikings can find someone to step into the QB role when Favre leaves. If not, don't expect Childress to make it to the end of his contract.

I'm a UC student and I recently heard that Zach Collaros is possibly facing jail time for not attending a court mandated class on underaged drinking, just in time to screw UC out of their well deserved national championship

Childress is a terrible coach, the only reason he is still there is because of Brett Favre and Adrian Peterson.

Uh hello remember you have a starter by the name of Tony Pike still around. Collaros would only get back in next year anyways and they still could recruit them.

Tell me about it, the Bengals lose late to oakland. Very dissapointing. We had the division sealed with a win. At least we still have the Browns and Lions ahead which are easier then the Raiders anyways. Still think the Vikings game could flex to late night.

I sort of had a feeling they'd lose one of their next three. Hopefully CIN can avoid dropping the next two, but I still think they've got the AFC North wrapped up. If PIT can lose to KC, they can lose to anyone. If they finish this season with 4 losses I will shave my head.

Oakland had the same record Kansas City did; the same could be said for Cincinatti losing to anyone.
But still, I have to agree that the Steelers won't win the rest of their games. But if you do end up having to shave your head, post pics!

Hmm....Polamau out possibly for the Bastards (Ravens) game, Overratedberger possibly having a concussion....they'll be lucky to make the playoffs now. But then again, my team (Cleveland) snached yet ANOTHER defeat from the jaws of victory (DAMN EX-STEELER!!!)

Thierry Henry is a professional.

Surely if you compare him with Brazilian Henrique from Australian Brisbane Roar

I've shaved my head before actually, I believe Nathicana still has the pics somewhere. I don't look very good with a shaved head, IMO.

At any rate, yes, the Bengals and the Steelers both lost to teams with the same record, but as the former already proved twice this season, they're the better team this year. The Bengals defense isn't as reliant on any one player quite like the Steelers D is (just look at them vs. the pass without Polamalu), and they just seem hungrier to me. The Bengals have a lot to prove this year, but to do it they have to be able to beat not only the good teams, but the bad ones too :lol2:

You'll have to forgive me for not taking the opinion of a Packer fan seriously. ;)

I personally think they only gave him an extension as compensation for the fact that he had to deal with the Favre media circus all offseason, and will likely have to do so again next offseason. :p
