Wow! It was sold out about a month ago actually. I was very lucky to get tickets, as I'm close family friends with someone who is on a football board here.

TCU specifically needs Texas to lose to make the national championship game. TCU needs two of those three teams to pick up a loss, and it's only guaranteed that one of the two SEC teams will lose (in the SEC championship game). If Texas and the SEC champ are undefeated, TCU is on the outside looking in. And I think, if somehow Alabama or Florida pick up a loss between now and the SEC championship but manage to beat the other in the title game (making both SEC schools 1-loss teams) then I think the strength of that victory lets the winner of the SEC championship leapfrog TCU into the title game. So, in my humble opinion, TCU's best chances lie in having Texas lose and then letting Florida and Alabama pummel each other and taking the winner.

I gotta think that, if we were to judge from the actual games and not conference bias and preseason hype, that TCU would get the nod regardless. I have a really hard time thinking that Florida or Texas would have put up a similar streak of dominance within the MWC.

Lucky Kiwis. Too bad /Ireland lost at home yesterday dissapointing. Uruguay won though, Gabon got close but nice job by Cameroon. and the Nigerians and hopefully the Algerians can beat Egypt again somehow. And Portugal won so.

Almost lost to Air force. So close only 3 points, maybe they can beat BYU thouhg next week and finish third in the league.

Oh and Bengals 18-12 Steelers. Bring out the brooms for the second time in the division, hopefully a third will come against cleveland.

My view on the Vikings is they aren't that great since the only two good teams they've played are the Bengals and Steelers. Only beat the Bengals.

Kind of hard to beat a team you dont play for a few weeks isn't it? The Bengals and Vikings istn for another month almost. Kind of hard to nothc a win against an opponent you havent played. If both teams keep this up though we might be seeing this as a flex sunday night game.

My thoughts exactly. OSU keeps somehow gaining victories that they almost never deserve, and have been consistently overrated for the wide majority of the last twenty years as near as I can tell. I was pleased when reality caught up with them against USC and Purdue, but honestly, they're a middling team that almost never deserves the ranking they get. I had thought Iowa was slightly over-ranked as well, but OSU winning games they shouldn't is something I'm rather used to at this point.

What the hell was Belichick thinking on that 4th and 2?! I mean, I'm not really a Patriots fan or anything but that one just had me scratching my head. He's supposed to be a good coach and all but damn, that was "Norv Turner" bad. And what's with all the timeouts they blew? If they had held on to one of them and settled for a touchback (instead of the run that got to the 20 but ran down 5 seconds) on the deep kick, that's another shot at the end zone. I dunno. Maybe New England was overconfident? But going for it on that 4th and 2 sends a bad message to the defense, and if they fail it just makes it that much worse.

To be honest, as a non-American, I find your college sports far more interesting than NFL or NBA.

Yea its great to not have to see teams that bought their whole lineup playing. Plus the rivalries are thrice more intense than the ones between pro-teams.

:( Duke lost. and UNC won.
