President Obama: Hero or Horror?

Postby Detris » Tue Dec 06, 2011 5:54 pm

Today, I went to see the event for President Obama in Osawatomie, Kansas. While I'm at it, I want to know what the majority of NationStates thinks of President Obama. Hero or Horror?

Personally i have nothng against his presidency. Some god things happened some bad things happened but overall nothin really happened. Im not voting for him next election because i dont really think anything would happen. The USA is still in debt and most of its problems aren't solved yet. I have a moderate opinion on his presidency.

I'm talking more about his inability to actually stand his ground. The theme of his entire administration has been "COMPROMISE ON EVERYTHING!" Which is fine and dandy when there's ADULTS running the country, but when you have CHILDREN running the country, compromising tend to be a BAD idea.

He's not that great, but he's better than most of the candidates the GOP has to offer. Both parties have their problems...and those Socialists and independents have no chance whatsoever at winning presidential elections. I probably wouldn't re-elect him, though.

Well, I don't think he's a horror. I guess I'm liking him better and better, but at first I didn't like him that much.

I have recently changed some political opinions, so my "pro and against" thing is still in the works.

He is a great disappointment. He is hardly a horror - he is still the best President of the 21st century ;) . Most of the stuff the right-wingnuts say about is BS: "He's a Muslim! A Kenyan! A Marxist/Communist/Socialist/Liberal!" Liberal Democrats have more reason to be upset with him than the GOP does.

Augustus Este wrote:Better than the alternative(s).

Considering the alternative, that ain't really saying much.
