People who denounce the free market and voluntary exchange, and are for control and coercion, believe they have more intelligence and superior wisdom to the masses. What's more, they believe they've been ordained to forcibly impose that wisdom on the rest of us. Of course, they have what they consider good reasons for doing so, but every tyrant that has ever existed has had what he believed were good reasons for restricting the liberty of others.

Somewhere in the region of Inoffensive Centrist Democracy. I could see myself in Democratic Socialists, Corrupt Dictatorship or Father Knows Best State territory, though. Since my politics tend to be all over the place (in that I have an unusual combination of views from across the political spectrum), I tend to find it difficult to categorize them all under one heading.

On the border of "Capitalizt" and "Civil Rights Lovefest".
Basically, right in that area without being "Anarchy".

Somewhere between Civil Rights Lovefest and New York Times Democracy.

Political freedoms: as high as possible (this includes freedom of information etc).
Personal freedoms: high but not unlimited. Your right to own a missile ends when you launch it into my kitchen, and it's too late then.
Economic freedoms: some, for the operation of a labor and products market, but considerable wealth redistribution too.

My current NS nation is an Anarchy because I lucked onto it and haven't changed it since.
My name is voiced AIL-EE-AIL-EE-AH. My time zone: UTC.
