For fun, I'm posting my post about what I would do again:

I would live in wealth and luxury and splendor(by raising taxes and then funneling some a good bit most nearly all of the dough to myself most likely) as a figurehead while I let an elected council/parliament do all the actual work. Only work I'd do was 1) make sure those elected are qualified for the job and 2) make sure that the people actually running the world are running it well.
That way I'd be living as the ruler of everything in luxury off of the less fortunate while not doing any actual work, leaving that to the not-as-high-as-me-but-actually-pretty-well-off fortunate.

In poorer neighborhoods and nations, there is more conflict and violence as people fight for resources.
