You should have been clearer in your statement. But what would we have done with him had you given him to us? I don't believe any US courts have jurisdiction, since the crime happened on Scottish soil (or airspace). While I'm not intimate with the details of the case, I have heard that the main witness against the man was questionable. Apparently money changed hands in getting his testimony.

Not only does this secure better relations and possibly oil deals with Libya, but it also makes the Scots Nats in Scotland look less popular and boosts Labour's chances of limiting their losses to the SNP in Scotland in 2010.
