What I set my nation's motto to.

We are like dwarfs on the shoulders of giants, so that we can see more than they, and things at a greater distance, not by virtue of any sharpness of sight on our part, or any physical distinction, but because we are carried high and raised up by their giant size.

Experimentation and constantly reevaluating what is important seems to be working to some degree. Basically trying to be aware and not get too comfortable with any one view.

well i don't have anything earth shattering/moving/shuddering/trembling or even wobbling to say but i like to lose myself in alternate universes full of people who aren't utterly selfish all the time. I know it's weird right? Although i suppose saying what it isn't full of could fill a large list so maybe that isn't very descriptive. I suppose what i'm trying to say is that i like to build stuff in my head.
"real life" is something i haven't had to suffer for a while but it keeps butting it's big ugly head at me now and again.

Knowledge, the betterment of humanity and personal gain, usually. They sometimes overlap. For example, if I can use my knowledge to better humanity, while gaining a quick buck, I will have lived a good life.
