It's my belief that this sort of thing can be best countered with, well, facts. If someone claims that sexism is a lie and everyone is socially equal etc you can just find a source that disproves them, since such an argument obviously can't stand up to reality. Of course, that belief could in itself be a form of gaslighting and maybe empiricism is wrong, but I find that any philosophical belief system incorporating the argument "empiricism is wrong" becomes little more than intellectual masturbation.

I think raising an objection as to the nature of her experiment considering her current actions and the goals of the experiment is a perfectly acceptable part of discussing the issue at hand.

Actually, if it was a personal attack, I would say something about her mother or something. However, I didn't. I commented on the person's actions on this forum, while saying nothing about her personally.

No post exists in vacuum. If a person has a habit of ignoring all men and any women who have a contrary thought, I will call them on it when they ask the forum's opinion on an issue. If you intend to ignore >2/3 of the forum, plus everyone who has a contrary thought, then asking for the forum's opinion on a subject is about as useful as masturbating a whale because you want pasteurized cow's milk.

The only debate was between people she had already ignored... Go find her previous thread and check on page 45 for a list of the types of people who she auto ignores.

I think examples of social gaslighting would be the way that men (and women) are socialised to see women as overly emotional, non-rational beings. Thus when women bring up legitimate concerns about their position in society, they are gaslighted into believing that they are imagining it.

Gaslighted into believing they imagined it how? Flesh out the hypothesis a little. What sort of things are said? I can't look for this happening around me without a description.
