Of the choices presented, Socialist. However, they lack a maximalist - revolutionary - program and so I don't find them all that much better than the existing Progressive Caucus. Anyway, I ted to agree with Emma Goldman when she said, "If voting changed anything, they'd make it illegal."

Aren't family values things you work on AT HOME WITH YOUR FAMILY?! The government doesn't need family men and good Christians, the government needs quick thinking men/women of action.

No, the military needs quick thinking people of action. The government needs broadly thinking people of deep consideration.

They've been thinking and deeply considering for years. They know what the people want, they need to give it to them. We need someone who is ready to say FUCK YOU to the morons who oppose it. A "political Patton" if you will.

so hermain cain is going for 9-9-9... In the UK we have 26% corporation tax this year, 20% VAT (the tax you pay on purchases of non-necessities), and average 20% income tax.

He's the least crazy and the most liberal of the Republicans. Enlighten me as to how he wants to shred the First Amendment (sorry if that sounds sarcastic, I genuinely want to know)

Plus Patton was a massively egotistical leader who believed it was his "destiny" to rid Europe of evil. Great general and admirable man but I'd say a megalomaniacal semi-dictator if he were to transpose his policies to the gov't.

Voting Herman Cain because he's more black than Obama, and we need to compensate for the last few centuries.

Indeed. That's the beauty of the American system, it's quite difficult for a megalomaniac to simply impose his ideas on the nation. I can't imagine the situation in which that would happen in the normal course of things.

As a high school senior about to become a college freshman (hopefully in one of Washington DC's universities), I will be voting Democrat. From my middle school year to high school, I have watched as the Republicans have broken virtually every promise, but the Democrats aren't good either. However, Dems are the lesser evil here, but I support the Occupy Movement's demand that Wall Street be unable to donate at all in political campaigns. If anything, I would make a law stating that all news stations have to play ads from both candidates for free or at least a reduced cost (say 25% off). After all, it IS the fate of the country.

But I was getting off track. The Democrats have done more than the Republicans have (we are actually getting OUT of Iraq, so eat your heart out Bush) in terms of foreign policy (removal of a dictator without putting one soldier on the ground with no US casualties and support of democratic movements) and in terms of civil rights (revocation of Dont Ask, Dont Tell). So I'm praying for Obama to win a second term. Better him than a far right, Christian conservative asswipe *glares at Michelle Bachmann*

The fact that I think Obama is LESS likely to bankrupt the country and end up killing EVERYONE, while not a ringing endorsement, is pretty clear on my feelings of the republican party right now.

Mitt Romney is a hypocritical arse
Herman Cain has the charisma of a stapler and and his plans are terrible
Ron Paul is almost bi polar. He has the best of some policies...but 50 states rather than 1 country scares me away from him
Rick Perry...no. I still remember the LAST governor from Texas, thank you
Bachman...seriously? People still want to vote for her? Does she have the deaf vote or something? Shes more bat s**tcrazy than a 5 year old who drank a gallon of Koolaid mix

Im voting Democrat for the lack of legitimate competition(stupidity or insanity are not legitimate competition)
