I don't see anything paradoxical about that. Why wouldn't a right to free speech cover speech that denies that there is/should be a right to free speech?

Freedom of Speech gives you the right to speak freely, it doesn't give you the right to revoke your own rights.

Personally I am a big believer in the obligation to STFU rather than some unqualified freedom of speech.
It is probably a result of a condition I was born with that means that too high a level of stupid gives me an earache.
