Well, um... it's November 1, 2011, and that means it's one digit away from 11/11/11. So, in prep for the big day, are you planning to do anything special? Have you heard of any movie/game/book releases timed to coincide with this historic date?

I myself am planning to pretend to have a normal morning, and then suddenly jump up right at 11:11 and yell, "ELEVEN ELEVEN ELEVEN ELEVEN ELEVEN!!!", scaring the shit out of anyone who wasn't watching the clock.

For me it is just another day.

Also 11/11 is known to be the start of the carnival season in my beloved south. It is considered to be the day of the loony.

I announce that 11/11/11 should be international "Who the fuck cares" day. At least then the day's festivities would side with my existing feelings as to the significance of the date being 11/11/11 using the short system.

I've heard about a carnival in Belgium... I don't know if there are a lot of different kinds or if this is the same kind.
