I don't know the details of World War 3, all I know is;

By the time their finished, we'll be fighting with sticks and stones.

People would fight other people for very superficial reasons, race or class or nationality or religion

When? That's the real question....

Personally, no, I don't think there will be a "world war" of the kind we saw in the 20th century, with massive armies and fleets of planes bombing cities.

Personally, no, I don't think there will be a "world war" of the kind we saw in the 20th century, with massive armies and fleets of planes bombing cities.

In that case, I think there will be wars that involve many nations from across the globe but none of them will be quite like either WW1 or WW2 unless a new issue arises that would promote a third world war.

So, by your claim, WWII is disqualified because it consisted of a number of region-specific wars: the Sino-Japanese War, the Winter War, the western Front, the Eastern Front, the Pacific War, and some other smaller conflicts.

I don't know if there will or won't be a third world war but I hope their isn't one. If there is one then the people who started it would probably be either Iran, Israel, Pakistan, or North Korea.

I reckon it's gonna be another European War, following the collapse of the fiscal union. I think Russia is also going to take advantage of it and try to expand the Eurasian Union, and Chinese expansion into Africa is gonna drag the commonwealth into it. I think the USA and possible India will be largely unscathed. It won't come to nuclear weapons, nothing ever does.

So, by your claim, WWII is disqualified because it consisted of a number of region-specific wars: the Sino-Japanese War, the Winter War, the western Front, the Eastern Front, the Pacific War, and some other smaller conflicts.

They wall all connected, the Americans fought in the Japanese Wars and the European wars, the the British colonies fought German colonies and Japanese forces in Asia. The Soviet Union concentrated on Berlin but eventually during the last years of the war liberated the Japanese controlled Manchuria and Korea.

Currently however I am not fully sure if the large war in the DR Congo and central Africa are connected with the Muslim and terrorist based wars in the Middle East and Asia.

If it's going to happen, the next 20-30 years, before Iran gets the **** blown out if it by the UN and NATO after a failed Nuclear strike on Israel

The EU hates Russia since S.Ossetia incident. And uh, England can kick China's ass. Remember the Opium War?
