Oh, I'd argue that it's more than 'now and then'.

Edit: I was searching for this article.

I don't know, CM. I have a feeling that if it were me coming here and saying, "I'm going to see if I can eliminate men from my life as much as possible so I can concentrate on the idea of separatist feminism and see if it works for me," you wouldn't be quite as judgmental.

You wouldn't ignore people just because they're males, would you?

Tricky asking the Amish for tips on "shunning" since most of them wont use a computer...

Could ask a Mennonite, since *some* of them use IT, but they tend to be the non shunning kind...

Why are there never any "Bad Amish" around when you need one...

I think you underestimate my willingness to viciously judge and argue with people I like. My friends tried starting an argument with me about what constitutes torture one night. I gave no mercy, I ripped apart their arguments and then destroyed the very foundations for the arguments. I had them agree with me and then just as quickly turn that on them to show that their very agreement deconstructed their argument. When I argue/disagree/judge, I don't pull punches.

I'd still have an overall good opinion of you, and I'd still like you, I'd just think that what you're doing is completely idiotic, same as here.

I might if I wanted to do an experiment for a few months, which is what Femnipotent is talking about. I might if that were part of the experiment.

its better than it used to be before feminism came along but socialism has been as sexist as captalism is.

Oh, I'd argue that it's more than 'now and then'.

It's not so much that it "crept in", but rather that it was always there to begin with.

I have inadvertently schism-ed more than one socialist group by insisting that feminism and racial issues not be marginalized by the vulgar Marxists and manarchists.

Except she explicitly said she's not here to fix men. Only women. Yet, if men are still subjugated in this patriarchal society, what she wants is to actually free women and subjugate men.

So, although you might be right, I'm saying the OP has a different idea.

well ya know....

it makes sense for women to work on women first. in many ways the movement of women away from the hearth and home has promted change in men.

if men dont want to change--and many really dont--it makes no sense for women to devote themselves to it. if men DO want to change its better to get together with other men who want to change and work on it themselves.

Ah, the way some people advocate for the schisming of society along lines of sex/gender.

I don't see why people separate 'Environmental influences' and 'Genetic influences'. Or rather, separate 'Environmental influences' and 'Self', as if they don't overlap. Who we are is shaped by what is around us in large part. I see no problem in accepting that.

Yup. I think they are called Strip Clubs.

So while I was walking today I seriously imagined what it would be like to wear a full body veil like Ashmoria had suggest. Then I passed an older white man and imagined him screaming at me in French about it and dismissed it entirely :( I wonder if there is some way I could do a similar thing without it being so attention drawing?

i dont even know what thats supposed to mean

is she to be a mother theresa to men, sacrificing the rest of her life to make them better? she is a woman so she works on herself as a woman. she doesnt need to work with every possible downtrodden group in the world. one might suppose she has a whole rest of her life to live outside of her feminist experiments.

Since you seem to to have ignored me femnipotent, I would like someone she hasn't to please tell her of this post, and if not, fine, she decided to ignore me.

To be honest your post are somewhat ignorant. You have basically blocked everyone who has a slightly differing opnion, to the point almost all of the eposters of been ignored. Ihave nothing aginst what you are doing, by why are you using the godanm forum if you don't want people to express their opinon unless it is completely toe-to-toe on line with yours.

Blocking someone who types something like ALL FEMINISTS SUCK is one thing, but blocking someone who wanted to express their opinion is another.

I hope you learn to do better.

Sincerly,
New Sapienta
