Are you really discussing the next election when Obama hasn't even been in office for a year yet? When does it end?! WHEN!?!

The way he's going, they could probably run a block of wood and it would win in a landslide.

I hope that Obama has a long lost twin brother somewhere, and that this twin is the next Republican candidate, because that would be hilarious!

Chuck Norr... ok, ok.

It'd be nice if Biden betrays Obama. He has the potential to become a great leader.

As a liberal who usually votes for a Democrat, I would think Sarah Palin would be a good Republican nominee. It should make it easier for the Democrats to win.
But, then again, I thought that about G.W. Bush. :palm:

I'm afraid. I'm very afraid.
I know there are a lot of Republicans thinking I'm paranoid and are laughing at that.
But that makes me more afraid.
That they would be willing elect an incompetent self-serving religious fanatic to be president and feel good about it. :(
I'd say our nation deserves to fall apart, but those that robbed it blind while their minions marched in lockstep to the beat they played will simply leave for greener pastures or live behind fortified walls.
The scariest thing about this is we are nuclear armed and have the most advanced and efficient killing machine of a military in the world. Peace-keeping a little iffy. But we blow up things real good.

Side note: actually, I hope the Republicans put up an intelligent, charismatic candidate who fully appreciates the country's problems and works to fix them, rather than to fix himself a nice slice of money. Ideally he would be polite and understanding, and able to reasonably and logically debate with the "other side." And if the Democrats run Obama again*, they can have a mutually respectful, insightful presidential debate which ends with both of them, and the viewers, being better-educated about the state of the nation and the philosophies we should live by.

But I know they'll run a fundie or something. :(

*hah, what the hell does this mean? Don't ask me. That was meant to be "and WHEN they run Obama again", I suppose.

Another Democrat even further to the left! XD

And for the people (five so far) who voted for Palin, keep in mind that I supported Dubya winning the primaries in 2000 "because there was no way he would win".* :palm:

* Arguably he DID lose Florida and thus the election, but that belongs in another topic.

You are obviously a Republican.
After all, Nader has essentially beat the Democratic candidate in 2000 and 2004 for the Republican party.

Obama announced he wouldn't running in the next election, I thought...

Of course he will. Either that, or he'll pass it to Gary N.

The best candidate is Ron Paul, but there might be technical issues with that.
There is a line most people say they will never cross. It is usually something they have done long ago when they thought no one was watching.
