What is the Best Invention/s Ever?

Postby Omega Centauri » Wed Oct 19, 2011 9:46 am

Hello there NSG! I have come here to ask you what you think is the best invention ever. I think, the telephone, the computer/laptop, the automobile, the plane, the internet, the pill and the house.
My top 8, (Not in Order) The House/home, The Pill, The automobile, The Plane/Aeroplane, The Computer/Laptop, The Internet, The mobile/telephone, the light bulb, the fridge freezer and the chair.
For me these are among the greatest and most useful/helpful inventions ever.
Now it's your turn, you can give me what you think is the best, or a short list like me.

"Never be deceived that the rich will permit you to vote away their wealth." - Lucy Parsons
Socialism is an economic system characterised by social ownership of the means of production and co-operative management of the economy. "Social ownership" may refer to cooperative enterprises, common ownership, state ownership, citizen ownership of equity, or any combination of these. There are many varieties of socialism and there is no single definition encapsulating all of them. They differ in the type of social ownership they advocate, the degree to which they rely on markets or planning, how management is to be organised within productive institutions, and the role of the state in constructing socialism.

Internet without a doubt. Because it is our last trump against exploiders and their attempts to rule the world. Otherwise they could shepherd us like a sheep as they wish. There are still many dumbs who can not use this great boon well and get deceived of their lies and order though. We are not aware of this great CHANCE.

Language. Also some really important ones(in no particular order): agriculture, internal combustion engine, assembly line, the machine, mathematics, writing, music and the wheel.

EDIT: I find it HILARIOUS that at the time of this post, NO ONE has yet voted for "The Internet" in the poll.

The Glorious Grand Duchy of BalSwalvia (Га Стоня Дачи во БалСwалвя) is an Absolute Monarchy, headed by Grand Duke Sergei Ryzhov. Citizens are not burdened with political responsibility, as their Glorious Grand Duke is gracious enough to alleviate them of these decisions. Besides, ordinary people aren't fit to govern themselves. Just as a child is unfit to decide their own bedtime, so too are people unfit to construct the laws by which they abide.
