lockdowns and nitpicking

Postby Heferland » Wed May 27, 2009 7:55 pm

I was getting sick of all these lockingdowns of forums so I made this nation to post this. Yeah I know its probably against one of the millions of rules. And the nation who is being punished for writing in caps. Who cares? And what about the new world map thread. So what if he wants to make a competitor. All these rules are making me sick. And im sure a mod is gonna come up with some bs exuse about this and lock it down before anyone posts anything. And yes I do have something against mods. So please make this nations death quick and painless.

Have you read the rules at all?

Also, what's the point of having to threads that are EXACTLY the same?

The rules exist for a reason. I suggest you read them and familiarize yourself with them, and the writing of the eminent 20th century philosopher and sex kitten Ayn Rand.

Also, in before the lock.

New Kereptica: Since power is changed energy over time, an increase in power would mean, in this case, an increase in energy. As energy is equivalent to mass and the density of the government is static, the volume of the government must increase.

One Stop Rules Shop. Read it. Live by it. Love it.

Seriously, NSG is chaotic enough with the rules in place. I don't even want to think about what would happen without them.

It would probably involve lots of mud though.

...What exactly is the point of this thread?

Gloating: Specific types of gloating are considered warnable. Posting "In before the lock" generates a warning to those posters who wish to gloat about an obviously lockable topic. IGNORE gloating is typically seen in the roleplay forums, though it can appear elsewhere. Politely informing another nation that you are henceforth using the Jolt "ignore" feature is acceptable, but repeating it in different threads or over long periods is considered gloating. Other cases will be considered on an ad hoc basis.

We used to have these in the old general, but they kind of dried up. I haven't seen one in months.

Is this the first one in the new general?

Heavens no, we must have no civility or politeness, lets just run rampant...

Bah! The rules here are a lot milder than some boards, and the mods? Again I can show you some that would turn you white as the proverbial sheet. In comparrison ours are paragons of liberal kindness and understanding.

19 out of 263 threads in the new General are locked. Most of those were during the forum's first few days and were typical spam threads. I fail to see your 'mod oppression.'

And it isn't a business here. There aren't competitors. If someone made a thread about a breaking news story before I could, I wouldn't make another one in the name of competition. It'd just be unnecessary clutter.
