Morally neutral, but a fucking bad idea.
Venicilian: wow. Jesus hung around with everyone. boys, girls, rich, poor(mostly), sick, healthy, etc. in fact, i bet he even went up to gay people and tried to heal them so they would be straight.
The Parkus Empire: Being serious on NSG is like wearing a suit to a nude beach.
New Kereptica: Since power is changed energy over time, an increase in power would mean, in this case, an increase in energy. As energy is equivalent to mass and the density of the government is static, the volume of the government must increase.

As much as I am for helping Iraq, we went to war under false pretenses. It was, and is, very wrong. That being said, It's a much more complicated situation than just "We have to leave" or "We have to stay."

Its wrong that we've stayed over there so long but, I think that we should at least finish the job before we run home and let politicians tell the people that America can never win again.

911 wasn't a good reason? We told them "Give us Al Qaeda ." They didn't. We gave them a time limit and they only endorsed the attack.

Guerrilla warfare is always the US' weakpoint.

When the government of Iraq wants us to leave, I think that's a good sign we can begin leaving.

It's a bit late, don't you think?

But I'll say now what i said then: The timing was awful. The UN was unconvinced that there was an imminent threat, most of our allies in NATO were unconvinced of an imminent threat and several middle-eastern allies were in talks with Saddam Hussein to step down and accept exile. Despite the evidence, there was no reason to believe that the war couldn't have waited a year or two. There was plenty of time to pull better intel, to convince our allies and form a stronger coalition dedicated to removing the threat the Iraqi leader posed.

Little did I know then that the 'evidence' was completely manufactured. We went in on false pretenses. We completely ignored the fact that diplomatic solutions were not yet exhausted and invaded a nation out of pure spite. Worse; we turned our much-needed attention from a war that DID matter in order to fight one that didn't.

Um.

Iraq didn't have anything to do with 9/11. And apparently disliked the hell out of Al Qaeda.

:palm: Whatever you are smoking, please stop. First off, Dick Cheney even admitted that Al Qaeda wasn't operating in Iraq prior to our invasion. Second, we invaded because of faulty intelligence from the CIA that said Saddam had nuclear weapons. And now North Korea has nukes, and we are doing nothing...

I'd make a crack about Obama being a pansy about the toleration of NK's nukes, but it's way too early.

Questionable in its legality, one of the biggest foreign policy blunders in recent (if not all) US history, one of the most diplomatically damaging decisions in US history; US should stay until the Iraqi government tells them to bugger off, and until the nation is back to its pre-war status (e.g. infrastructure) the US and its "coalition of the willing" is morally and financially responsible.

Argue all you want. Maybe, however, you should try backing your argument up with fact and not ludicrous statements.

Well, its hard to force their hand. A military strike could have disastrous repercussions for SK and Japan. Iraq was different. Saddam may have been an a**, but he was mostly sane. Kim, not so much. Don't forget when Kim kicks the bucket, then the military takes over...

Just because a war is properly executed doesn't mean it's morally or legally right.

The thing is... I think Kim is trying to bilk more out of the oil-for-nukes deal that Bush negotiated. Like protection money, but not quite.

It's morally right to use nerve agents on your own people as Saddam did?

Also, there is nothing illegal about the military actions in Iraq or Afghanistan; find some new talking points that are founded on a solid framework.
