Matter of opinion.
I Like Americas law a lot more than the laws in europe overall.

I'm just sad their attempt in the 60's failed. The Shat was unable to win the Hearts and minds of only poor nerds and geeks. Bieber has only won the minds of young girls with no idea of what constitutes singing. If anything their attempts at corrupting America's youth has seriously declined in the past 50 years,I mean nerds and geeks can actually change things when they leave their basements and comic books behind and become engineers, those little girls d are just going to grow up and be sluts. I blame the Liberals.

Just because these people are stupid, wrong and highly dangerous does not mean you have the right to make them feel sad.

At least, in my experience at least.

Whoever put the two together was a total dick who had no respect for the human larynx.
Or at least a habitual drunk. The tune to the Star-Spangled Banner was an old drinking song called "To Anacreon in Heaven".

Tom Green was an unfortunate mistake, a prototype rushed into the field and developing malfunctions. The TG Program was canned soon after, but TG himself remains at large.

Why?
Because God Save the Queen is barely a national anthem. It isnt even about the nation as a whole, .....
Im not exactly a patriotic man, preferring the internationale as an anthem, however if your going to have a national anthem, AT LEAST let it be a NATIONAL anthem.

Oh say can you see...
Nope I'm not saying the first line.
As a Briton, I'd say the Star Spangled Banner is much better. God Save the Queen sounds dirgy and pretty fucking dire. Also I don't care for lizzy :/
Although, I think the ruined American national anthem is vastly inferior to the British. iknowitsnotthesamemusicalarrangementshutupitsgreat
Do you prefer the lyrics of one to the other? Is one more tuneful?
WHAT SAY YOU NSG

Because God Save the Queen is barely a national anthem. It isnt even about the nation as a whole, its about an old woman who has as much to do with the average brits life as my loo roll has to do with TES5 Skyrim.
A far, far, FAR more appropriate anthem for the british nation would be Rule Britannia http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1XPHL4Q86t4
It actually refers to the british people more than asking god if the queen will be nice to us, has glorious messages to it "Britons never will be slaves" and massively refers to the history of the british people in forging an empire, rather than the history of a german family...

and here I thought that "Star Spangled Banner" was about your flag. Not the people, the country or anything to do with the US. Just the flag
