It was 1985. Me and the arcade games down at the candy shop had a steady relationship; we saw each other often, and had moved into the touching phase, when I happened to notice a beauty across the road; that's right, the Nintendo Entertainment System. Oh boy, what fire. What flame. I followed that one through like a fox on a hunt.

Sadly, I didn't have enough money to satisfy her needs, so she left me for some rich kid named Timmy.

For hopefully the last time, "brain activation" is not anything close to "this is what this is". In fact, it's not even "stimulation" or "activation" when you're looking at such data, and such titles are misnomers. Take a neuroscience class. Profit.

My first love... well, the first individual I ever went out with was when I was twelve. It was just childish nonsense, nothing even close to serious. I thought that's what love was, but it wasn't. My first love would have been... when I was fourteen, I guess, or fifteen. I don't remember it very well at all, or at least not my part, but I remember her. Beautiful. Intelligent. Aloof. Wild. But when she was happy, she'd be sure to let you know, and when she was happy to be with you, she wouldn't leave, and wouldn't let you either. I don't remember everything that happened, because that sort of cognitive dissonance I had at the time I guess just couldn't be handled, but I remember how I felt when she'd had me pinned. How she smelled.

I don't remember hearing about her death, either. I had to be told again, years later, but it apparently wasn't easy. I do still think about her, think about just how important she might have been to who I am now.

I think I've thought I was in love, but I really wasn't. So, I've never really been in love, if we're speaking about people. I've been in love with lots of other things. But never really a person.

This other kid also liked her and told her I was cheating on her. She responds by nailing me in the you know whats. After this occurs, she leaves and her new "boyfriend" turns up and tells me that he told her I was cheating on her. So I punched him, broke his nose and got a good 'ol 10 day suspension for it. Come to find out that now he's been telling her that I'm talking shit about her family. Now she hates me even more (keep in mind I haven't actually done any of this). So yeah, that's the condensed version.

Oh, it is. It's been well over a decade since, and my romantic life is quite healthy indeed. Yeah, that's the life of a 15 year old. :P

Seriously though, don't worry about it. You have your whole life to date and have fun. Just relax and do your own thing because you enjoy it. Spend your teenage years trying new things and developing into an interesting adult.

Also, nothing turns people off like desperation. So just go about your life, hang out with your friends, do activities you enjoy. If they're social activities you might meet someone interesting who you hit it off with, but if your goal is primarily to have fun and enjoy yourself (or learn something new) then it won't matter if you do meet someone special or not.

I am a 16 year old male who prides himself in my talent of playing electric and acoustic guitar. I am the lead guitarist band Sons of the Forgotten and am a far right republican conservative and am very pro-war, pro-life, and am pretty religious.
As for other random things about me, I love to party, will occasionally drink, and absolutly hate drugs.
The "Nick" prosepective of the world.

I miss the good world, the Regan world.
RIP Dimebag; August 20, 1966 – December 8, 2004. Get past the Cemetery gates bro.
Make love, not war that way when those damned Bigtopians actually grow a pair and decide to attack, we'll have a massive army waiting for them.
