Morally indifferent?
So people that actually bothered to go through the official 'process' of immigration, fill in those forms and registration and get approved and wait for that etc... should just have not bothered and waltzed in across the border so they could earn a fraction filling in a job that a company would rather not hire an American for (as in: you'd have to pay a living wage, taxes, etc.... hey why do that when you can get away with paying a fraction of that to an illegal)?

No, the basic point is why should that "process" exist and be required for immigrating in the first place? I see no moral justification whatsoever for it.

You know it's takes a year if not years to be granted citizenship

Hey I got an idea, lets just abolish all borders and give welfare and/or jobs to the whole world,
shall we? I'm sure somehow global eternal bliss shall ensue... just one slight flaw in the plan...

So?
We cannot let half the world come in. There has to be some kind of limit. And yes, we should
be picky and choosy. And besides, there's a huge moral hazard at continuously taking the 'best and brightest' away from their home countries... and also a moral hazard in letting in tons of potential cheap labor that will price American workers out of a job. As said, why pay an American a living wage if you can get away with paying an illegal a fraction?

Immigration is a good thing for the economy as the saying goes the more the merrier

Why not? If they want to come, who are "we" to restrict them? It's one thing if they're trespassing on an individual's private property--then general trespassing laws are fine, and it doesn't matter if they're an immigrant or not. But if the owner doesn't mind them being there, or they own the property themselves, who are "we" to override that decision?
Certainly, there may be morally relevant circumstances that may justify the state removing someone from someone's private property even if the property owner has no objection to that person being there--such as when the person in question has harmed or is about to or is in the process of harming someone else. But I don't see why having started out from the wrong side of an arbitrary line on the map with no moral relevance itself is among them.

So the problem is not illegal immigration, it is illegal pay. Which is not going to be solved by building fences, but maybe by looking a little closer at business practises

Most mexians still live in mexico.
Ok there is poverty and a lot of people not getting enough to eat but they have to wait years to get into the us of a. But they have a good chance of getting across the border illegally and boom they have a better life.

WE are the ones who live here.
We are the ones whos lives may be effected negatively by it.
