What is my religion? And philosphy?

Postby Socialist Central Asia » Sun Oct 02, 2011 5:35 am

PHILOSPHY:

-Mankind must have rest, no stress, and relaxation to enjoy his life
-God didn't make man, man made god
-God doesn't rule the world, nor mankind, but nature does
-Earth, water, air and fire makes the earth in balance.
-There is more between spirit, mankind, soil and the universe than we think
-If ones happy, then the earth is happy

EXPLENATION OF THE ELEMENTS:

-Air is for time and calmness, when the wind is strong, there's alot of anger, when the wind is weak, there's peace and harmony
-Fire is for anger, fear and dispair.
-The earth stands for power, might and courage
-The water stands for beauty, and togheter with air it stands for peace and harmony

You can relate every person to one of the elements

RELIGION:

See philosphy, but the 'religion' must not interfere with the daily life.

Some folks told me I am 100% related to confuciasim...

Edit: To be honest, I think you're somewhat of a atheistic neo-druid animist.

You sound like a hippie to me.

Failing that, some sort of pagan. Don't know why they're all about the four elements and such, but there you go.

No, the paganism practiced in the Celtic world around 400 AD. That's not neo-paganism. Neo-paganism came from the renaissance era I believe.

There's nothing particularly Daoist about it and at least one aspect completely alien to Daoism.

Definitely not. Neo-paganist movements first began in the late 1600's and continue up to today. The most prominent Neo-Pagan religions are Druidry and Wicca. The first Druid orders were started in the 1700's, though they have changed drastically to today. Wicca was started in the 1900's and popularised by Gerald Gardner, the Father of Wicca. Feminism have little to do with Neo-pagan religions. Some neo-pagans are feminists, but it is not part of their religious belief systems, only their personal beliefs.

As for the OP, you sound like an Hedonistic Atheist Straight-Edge Hippie. I don't know who said it sounded like confucianism as what you described does not sound like confucianism at all. Parts of what you said also sounded like Animism, and other parts sounded like Aristotelian thinking

Good ideas :)
Similar to my own Pantheism, though I think God and Nature are one in the same, not that God is a complete myth. The almost pagan ideas of the elements. Overall, I like it.

And as far as i know wicca is a feminist religion. (all wicca, not just the dianics)

Yes, I think it was later than 1600, maybe 1750's. Wicca isn't feminist, Wicca is the belief in magic I think so like witches and stuff are popular.
