Really? Illegal immigrants have payroll and sales tax deducted, but unlike you do not claim benefits for fear of being thrown into a country very few know much about. You're the one mooching off of them, kiddo.

Because the GOP doesn't want any more immigrants let in. They've built their careers on "THEY TUK R JERBS," and "DIRTY NIGGERS/MEXICANS/MOOSLIMS" and they aren't going to be winning the minority vote any time soon because of it.

Isn't it ironic that a country which has got its position now purely because of immigration of scientists and doctors and other successful people from all over the world, now complains against giving scholarships to deserving albeit illegal-immigrant students?

See, that's what I don't get about GOPs. They don't want jobs for illegals immigrants right? Now then, if taxing the rich reduces jobs, that means illegals don't get jobs.

It's a win-win!

Shall we ignore the fact that your claim is clearly not true?

There are people with money to tax. There are people getting wealthy even in a recession.

But let's ignore that for the moment and address the question of how taxation might be simpler than spending cuts? First and foremost, because the burden of deciding drops on the tax-payer when you increase taxes, whereas spending cuts means deciding what to cut, how, by how much, and what you have to keep or cover.

If simplicity is our prime metric - tax increases are best.

Collect and deport ALL illegals from the country, bring home the soldiers and marines from the middle east, stock up on border patrol, and there we go, no more illegals. Get the illegals out of our education system and jobs.

I think this is just a sick and horrible idea, and I believe that we need the Federal government to intervene. It really needs to take a solid and uniform stance on immigration. I mean we are turning into a nation of extremes, just look at us, Arizona passes a huge anti-illegal law and California is on the verge of passing the DREAM act. This will make it harder for my children to get a higher education and get college level jobs, as if finding jobs, even college level ones, are really that easy to find

You're a nation of immigrants. Fucking deal with it ffs.

Its your own fucking fault that you have an immigrant 'problem'.

Why? Because you screw these places over with your bullshit war on drugs and your overthrowing of democratic governments to combat the 'socialist menace', and then make it extremely difficult for these people to enter your fucking nation legally and then complain when they do it illegally.

Honestly, I don't know how'd you show that you're not illegal. Refugees pending asylum, for example, are illegals by technicality. But they're refugees.
