Interesting admission. I don't think you've ever been quite so open about this before. I'm not sure if it's refreshing to find that your xenophobia trumps your survival instinct, or a little sickening.

I'd rather have no illegals and have a little bit of trouble for the short term.

Xenophobia is the fear or hatred of strangers and foreigners. I don't hate or fear foreigners or strangers. Illegals are foreigners but i don't hate them for being foreign I hate them for being illegal.

"I'd rather have no illegals and have a little bit of trouble..."
It is what it is. You want them out, even if it makes life harder for Americans. You can quibble semantics all you like, but you've already admitted your hate trumps your concern for any of the rest of us.

Still not xenophobia
Americans have been through worse I'm sure they will get over it. I'm stil waiting for you to prove I'm xenophobic

As for whether or not Americans have 'been through worse'... maybe, especially if the survived the Depression.
The difference, of course, is that we're deliberately creating this situation.

I'm an american-born citizen. My parents were born in this country. Their parents were born in this country. And the parents of their parents emigrated here legally. Learned the language, assimilated. Yet somehow, an illegal immigrant that doesn't speak english can hop a fence, and get government subsidies to go to college? In my eyes, this is a crime. American citizens can't get jobs because there are illegal immigrants who come here, work for a lower cost, and then send that money to their families back in mexico.
I can see both sides of the argument, but I find it hard to sympathize with people that want to give handouts to illegals, who don't even pay taxes.

NC raised the subject as a 'response' to the issue of labour shortages, etc.
*shrugs*
(However, I have gone ahead and deleted the next post I made about it.) Can we similarly put a nix on NC's hijack about how Conservapedia justifies ignoring all the data that doesn't meet his desires?

Missing the point. Check the links if you don't like their evaluations.
(Conservapedia mainly hyperlinks it's own articles, from what I recall - that's not a reliable sourcing paradigm).
In other words, rather than trying to poison the well, why don't you see if you can find an actual flaw in any of the arguments?
