I don't see any reason I should pick up an argument with someone who tries to refute being called "annoying and abrasive" by being annoying and abrasive. Besides, I have a gentleman right here who is evidence enough that my position on this subject is correct, and hers is false.

Since it should be self-evident to anyone that my position is much better supported, I see no reason that I should take any further contentions to the contrary seriously. People who form judgments about a type of person they have never really known an example of are tiresome, aren't they? Let's laugh at them. Hahaha!

I think there was a charming side to him, actually, and I'll miss him somewhat. I really think that his violent-sounding remarks are those of an impulsive youth who will most likely grow up to be relatively civilized, in the fullness of time. I'm sure he is a dear once you get to know him.

You know, I never actually had that defining moment where I realized that I was gay. I only noticed that I was not interested in women. I honestly thought that I simply didn't have any sexuality at all, and I still don't tend to be especially hot on the trigger when it comes to approaching even guys.

On the other hand, on the rare occasions that I have fallen in with a guy, it has invariably turned into a long-term relationship. The first one didn't work out because he was torn between me and his kids from a previous marriage while I was torn between him and my education; besides, I feel I acted like a selfish cock in that relationship. The second one didn't work out because I wanted to be committed and open whereas he had commitment issues and was deeply closeted. Presently, I'm keeping my fingers crossed, but the one I'm with now seems to be a keeper.

It amuses me to see how, when you think of it, some people are disgusted more than anything by two people in love. Especially when they have the audacity to publicly show that love, by holding hands or, God forbid, kiss.

Sad, really, how people who are offended by that fail to see one of the most beautiful things about our species. Our advanced love life.

Not that I feel happy when I see a straight couple excessively making out in public, some decency, please... but holding hands, subtle kiss, stuff like that - shouldn't offend anyone, who didn't imagine themselves in a similar romantic involvement with one the PDA'ers in question.
