I like the "If I can't sleep, you can't sleep" approach.

Poke him awake until you eventually pass out from exhaustion, it's what I do.

He snores in any position. And we took him to the doctor. He's ok where breathing is concerned. He's just a truck when he snores.

Our cats learned how to push open our doors (the latches are very weak) so I don't have a choice whether they sleep on my bed or not. Not that it matters much.
