How do you feel about Rape Jokes?

A simple question: Do you find rape jokes funny?

I wanted NSG opinion on this after a recent debate/argument with a friend.
I only sometimes find them funny because of me and my friend's tasteless humour.

I have a horrible sense of humour too. I get it from my (non-biological) grandfather (whom I am unfortunately like in many ways). So yes, sad to say, I do find a lot of rape jokes funny.

Depends on the rape joke. If they are about a real person getting raped, then no. But if they are about something made up, then yes.

Depends on the joke. If it's well told, and has a decent punchline, I don't mind laughing at rape jokes.

I would argue that a great deal of their inherent humor lies in the universal offensiveness of rape, so I've always felt that indignation that people find rape jokes offensive to be a little disingenuous.

And I find people justifying laughter at rape with "It depends on the execution and quality of the joke" equally disingenuous. It's l ike starting a sentence with "I'm not a racist, but ..."
