Ron Paul and Jon Huntsman appeared the most reasonable, and only for their foreign policy.

Appearing reasonable, is, of course, a deathblow to the candidacy of anyone trying to be the Republican nominee.

In terms of who was the best from a Tea Party perspective, it's hard to say. I don't think any of them stood out.

People clapped when they heard Bachmann deride Perry for giving families the option to have vaccinations for cervical cancer at age 12.

Bachmann actually argued that such a shot for "innocent young girls" is a major fault of big government, either completely unaware of other vaccination programs required by public schools or unaware of just how shitty cervical cancer is.

I mean, I'm a Republican (by name only, I guess, as the party runs towards the starboard side of the ship) and I thought Bachmann should have gotten the hook for such a blatantly ignorant comment.

It was the way that Perry went about getting the whole thing through, instead of going to the legislature and asking for it to be passed as part of the constitutional process, Perry signed an executive order mandating the shots with an 'opt out' option available, it wasn't the shots themselves or trying to protect teenagers from cervical cancer, it was the WAY of which the legislation or law was passed, She called Perry out for being a hypocrite and not following or at least not always compiling to his own advice and small government values.

Actually, I'm pretty sure most Wall Street leaders are what you'd call New York liberals and ardent supporters of the Democrats. And Wall Street donations as a whole tend to lean Democratic as well, though prior to the last Congressional landslide they did, reasonably, decide to back the winners.
