It's just a question, and a not unreasonable one, but have it your way.

My family, friends, and job are not in Houston.
I may relocate there at some point. Who knows.
In any case, median housing in NYC costs 10.35 times the median household income. In San Fran, it's 10.62 times. Houston? 2.98 times.

See? That didn't hurt much, did it? A reasonable answer to a reasonable question.

Curiosity question simply because your views would suggest that would be your perfect spot to live.
This is so odd.
Any time, I praise any place that I do not live in, you question why I don't live there. It is not normal behavior. I like it here too. I cannot live in multiple places simultaneously.

He did make some errors, that nitpickers like me would probably pick up on, but I think I quite like the larger picture he's showing.

You can go to Panama for example. They have a territorial tax system. Meaning, you only pay income taxes on income derived in Panama. Set up a business in a low tax jurisdiction outside of Panama an you're good. There are a number of spots like that. Believe it or not, the US is a tax haven as well. As long as you are not American.
Since it's so wonderful; why aren't you rushing there?

I hear the trick is Canadian citizenship while residing in the cayman islands.
No income tax in the Caymans, no death tax in Canada, and a Canadian passport is almost as good as an American pass port for travel.
