Hey, some people died for their belief. Having someone so commited to God that they lay their lives down? that is a huge effect!
I just remembered the story of a Saint who was a Roman comedian or actor.
Normally they'd put on plays that made fun of Christianity. On 1 particular day they were making fun of "Baptism". But while on stage this Man was suddenly struck with the Wisdom of it. He believed in Christianity right then and there on the spot and began to preach to the crowd, I believe. The following day he was martyred.

God can change people is the point I made, it made someone who was anti-Christian suddenly a martyr!
There are more stories such as these. I wasn't always a good little Catholic. I even had moments of anti-Christian moods.
But the story goes on, and 1 day I find God again, and my life was set on fire (In a most amazing good way) there were struggles, but I'm overwhelmed with a new flame now!

Gravitational accretion of matter.
This is why gay marriage will destroy American families.
Gays are made up of gaytrinos and they interact via faggons, which are massless spin 2 particles. They're massless because gays care so much about their weight, and have spin 2, cause that's as much spin as particles can get, and liberals love spin. The exchange of spin 2 particles creates an attractive force between objects, which is why gays are so promiscuous. When gays get "settle down" into a lower energy state by marrying, they release faggon particles in the form of gaydiation. Everyone is a little bit gay, so every human body has some gaytrinos in it, meaning that the gaydiation could cause straight people to be attracted to gays and choose to turn gay.

One thing, which I find to have the least basis of all religious stances, is the belief that the Bible is incorrect in some parts. You can believe that what the Prophets and Jesus and all of them said is correct, or you can disbelieve that it is correct. What cannot be done is to state "I believe the parts I agree with to be correct, but the parts I don't to be incorrect." If part of it is either a lie/misconception/wrong, then how is the rest any good? If you reject some of the document, why do you believe the rest to be infallible?

If you know so much about Dark Matter, you should work for MIT.

Because, as far as I can tell (and almost everyone agrees), that we don't know anything about Dark Matter.

It's accepted theory to explain anomalies, but you can't really say things like what you're saying as theories.

It's St. Vitus, who is the patron of actors and was boiled alive. His symbol is the rooster. There is no story whatsoever about mocking Christians in plays though, but Vitus is definitely who is being referenced.

Could be St. Vitus.

I've never heard of the Romans putting on such plays, by the way, and I have a smattering of knowledge on Roman society. Roman drama wasn't as developed as the Greek, on the whole. They did do comedy well, under the Republic, anyway.
