Yes, because "revolution" strictly means a bloody overthrow of government.
Crimes committed by Muslims will be a pan-Islamic plot and proof of Islam's inherent evil. On the other hand crimes committed by non-Muslims will merely be the acts of loners who do not represent their belief system at all.
The probability of one's participation in homosexual acts is directly proportional to one's public disdain and disgust for homosexuals.
If a political figure makes an accusation of wrongdoing without evidence, odds are probable that the accuser or an associate thereof has in fact committed the very same act, possibly to a worse degree.

Similar to putting on a tricone hat with tea bags hanging down, and talking about how you want to keep government out of your Medicare that the parents thought would be hip.

What the parents thought would depend on their political bent. It's a peaceful protest, not a riot.

That said, You-Gi-Owe wouldn't be making a stink about this if it was a teabagger protest blocking traffic somewhere. An openly conservative news outlet from the other side of the country probably isn't the most reliable source for an anti-corporate protest in New York, either.

Yeah, god forbid kids facing the prospect of being the first generation in American history to wind up poorer than their parents, mounting student debt for what turned out to be no payoff later and 35% real unemployment go off to protest. They instead should be obedient and quiet and work/study, the only noble things people can do.

My parents, by the way, are disabled people who worked hard before cancer, epilepsy and brain damage sent them into $450,000 in debt and bankruptcy thanks to our wonderful health care system. To be fair, they're still alive because of the system, they just had to go bankrupt and raise me in dangerous neighborhoods to just scrape through. It may not surprise you that they swing a little left because of this.

I'd be proud that my child was passionate enough about their beliefs to defend them like I do; even if they were contrary to mine.

Note: Saw your post after this, too. Good Going.

The topic isn't about the rightness or wrongness of the cause.

Why don't you start a topic of why colleges and universities charge such a high amount?

It seems to me that You-Gi-Owe doesn't support these people's right to protest.
You can tell how authoritarian someone is by how quick/how often they are to condemn people who are anti-establishment.
What is going to be the majority reaction of parents seeing their kid on television, marching and not studying?

I would feel proud, dissent is the highest form of patriotism.

Any arrests at Tea Party events?
Any Tea Party types cited for blocking traffic?
Any Tea Party type even leaving litter after one of their events?
I think the answer to those three questions is, "no".

I would be disapointed that my kid turned out to be a lefty, but I really wouldn't care all that much. My kids will find their own way in life.

Go ahead and find those arrests and complaints. They must be in the news somewhere, you think?
Edit. Only arrest I could find was in AZ where a heckler wouldn't leave the rally in peace.
