...i have heard that so many times...it's killing me...i have dealt with people like that. I always manage to stop them from doing it...it takes a very long time, but after patience you realize that they need you more than ever and that you can't just leave them after you have helped...

If you want to help, don't just say "go to this and it will help." the person wants the attention of you and they want you to help...not to l;eave them alone in the world...they think they are alone and such...Don't...stay with them for as long as possible even after the problem is over...

Over NS and IRL i have helped a lot of people...in my school many kids have talked to me and or have meet with me in a room and we have talked privately...it helps...it truly does...don't just talk shortly and give them a help line or web site...it never works...you have to explain it and keeps saying it in different ways to get it to them that they have a reason to live...

I understand what you are saying but it's not a disparage. Just projecting an image. My aunt said she was at Woodstock but my mom denies it. Supposedly there are photos and my aunt said she would hand them over when my mom passes. Not sure I want to see them. *shudders*

She never let me smoke but there was second hand which is almost as good. Especially when she had friends over. Your old boss probably would have fit in just fine.

It's funny but after those experiences; never really had the urge to procure it.....
