What can I say other than that I completely and utterly disagree?

The way I see it, their are two main possibilities: either life has some sort of larger philosophical/religious meaning, or it does not. If the former, then the title is wrong. If the latter, then life has whatever meaning we choose to give it, and the title is wrong.

Nah. It would be just as reasonable to say that everyone should commit suicide because life has a point. There really is no connection between the two things.
The kind of middle-class mentality which actuates both those responsible for strategy and government has little knowledge of the new psychology and organizing ability of the totalitarian States. The forces we are fighting are governed neither by the old strategy nor follow the old tactics.

Why does everything have to have a 'point'? What is this all encompassing veneration of this nebulous 'point' everything is supposed to have? Why am I to be shamed when something I do is labelled 'pointless?' For that matter, what defines a 'point' and how much of one is 'enough', and who gets to decide that?
