Meh, I've had worse. Especially with sunburns. Once, I was screwing around in a wheelbarrow filled with water, with my back towards the sun, and by the end of the day, I literally had a purple sunburn.

I had essentially a smaller version of that on my fingers from pan-frying chicken. It wasn't very serious, but I've still got burn scars because of the location.

My left palm, on the other hand (lolpun), doesn't have any lasting damage that I'm aware of. It had much more serious burns, though.

Well, as far as handling food goes, no. Although when I was about 2, I took one of the brush attachments off of a vacuum cleaner, took off the lampshade on the bedside lamp, which was lit (and had been so for several hours), and tried to put the brush on the bulb. It went through, and the bulb touched the palm of my hand, giving me a rather extremely large blister, that resembled the Superdome...

Ah. I can't help but twitch at the thought of giant blisters.

I had a second-degree burn when I was younger after putting my palm right on a gas heater for a few seconds. It was snowing and things were being packed up after a camping trip. I was standing outside in the cold next to the heater and wanted some warmth, because no matter how much closer I moved to the heater, I didn't feel warm enough. Thus, I got as close as I could get, which was a foolish mistake.

I'm not sure what my worst accident is, but some of the top ones are broken finger, dog ripping open my cheek(it wasn't a huge injury, but I was young and the cheek isn't very tough), tearing my palm open on a friend's toenail (while in a hot tub), and slicing off much of the skin on the tips of two of my fingers while carving a stick.

Sounds bad. Before I went on my school's DC trip, I somehow managed to piss Ruth off (small thing really, I just took two bookbags to school, and she told me to bring one, but I didn't want to get a detention for not having my books, so I took the second one anyways...), and she grounded me from all my electronics, and forced me to walk around outside every single day of my spring break... I ended up with a rather nasty burn on the back of my neck that kind of bubbled up... Still wasn't as bad as the wheelbarrow burn, nor as bad as the burn I got at the beach this summer, but still...neither of them bubbled like that...

French is the older English. The original international language, it being one of the big colonial empires, along with the Spanish and English, Spanish of course still being big in Latin America and South America. Those three, and German, are similar enough to mesh well in conlangs.

Modern Chinese is the only other language really used much, and it doesn't mesh well at all with English etc., plus all of the issues with basing a conlan on any Chinese dialect, with their inability to agree on anything language related.

I've got writer's block.
A young merc terminally ill with cancer, I signed on for a government "human weapon" program: Weapon X. They got rid of the cancer like they promised...sorta...by melding an advanced healing factor to it. The gruesome experiments left me physically and mentally scarred, so they put me in a mental ward where the guards held a dead pool. I escaped and rose to infamy, partly a hero.

For falling in love with a physical avatar of Death, I was cursed with life. I pissed off a divine power so that I could be with her again, but it failed. After I got struck down by some powerful lighting, I came back to life...as a breathing corpse. Fuck.

Then it's settled. From this day forth we, Inde and Nana, form the Accidentlicious Club. All those who are accident prone, feel free to join. :p

I like the name. It's positively fantabulous.
