I really don't think that matters.

You have to consider that there's a whole field dedicated to studying the relationship between music and society. It's called ethnomusicology.

I don't care about the money. I can get a job teaching somewhere, or another job doing something so I can afford to eat. But without music I'd wither up and die.

What kind of terrible country must one live in to imagine regular citizens getting arrested for peaceful protest? That doesn't happen here.
