Of course, once you've paid, Xbox 360 online is much better.

And while the Xbox does have more exclusives, I think that today, after it having been some 5 years since they came out (the Xbox being a year older), the relevance of the exclusives is not as important.

Like I said, I'm not a huge gamer. If anything, I prefer the Wii over either other system, because of the higher interactivity levels.

True.

The Kinect is a fucking joke, and Move is really "been there, done that".

I wonder if I should wait a year and buy the Wii U. I'll also be able to see if the next Xbox (likely to be announced next year) would be a better investment.

The PlayStation 4 likely won't come out for another 3-4 years.

@SH: Because I'm a teenager. Most of my computer time is spent online. Also, I bought a new laptop just last year. :p

Ditto.

Though in my case, it could be that I hesitate to make moves, that my parents think that I'm "too young" to have girlfriends, and my own brain telling me that now's not the best time to distract myself with stuff like this.

Given that I'm a virgin, I decided to avoid an attempt at a summer romance since I'd rather I first had sex with someone I love, rather than someone I want to fuck just because of her rack. :p

That's actually a terrible idea.

Do you even realise how badly attached you could become to that first person because you "love" them? I've yet to hear of any case of this ever turning out well. Go get laid by a friend, and the plow a few more people, then get involved with somebody you really end up caring about.

I thought this way until I finally broke down and pursued doing it with a friend.

I felt a huge weight lift from my shoulders, and sex was no longer sacred or binding. Not to mention I got a shit ton more of it in the process. But the main thing is, it made me a lot more careful about pursuing serious relationships. Granted, my first serious one just ended (for all to witness here on NSG, no less), but it lasted two years.

I pretty much agree and we have very similar lives, though now, I'm 18 and my parents are starting to wonder why I don't have a girlfriend. With my Dad outright implying I must be gay.

Which is sort of cruel given that they know full well, that the a girl I've had very strong feelings but couldn't really move on for various reasons, moved away this summer and that I was horribly depressed for like two months when I found out.

I wouldn't do it with a friend you've known for too long, either. Attachment issues and all that.

Generally speaking, it's not entirely a good idea to lose it to somebody you'll get attached to, because there's an incredibly high chance the relationship won't work out, or you won't even get into one at all, thus delivering a crushing blow regardless.
