Sure it will.

1) It will allow those of us who are routinely abused by Christians to get a little emotional comfort. We can share our frustration and anger by communicating with one another, and in so doing we will get to know that we are not alone.
2) It will (rightfully) shame Christians who support this kind of crap.
3) It will also shame Christians who oppose these abuses but choose not to speak up. Christians should be the ones speaking up the most loudly against their abusive brethren. The thing is, usually members of a majority group don't take it upon themselves to speak out against their own group unless you give them a reason to do so...and shaming them by association is a great way to do that.
4) It will piss Christians off. That's a reward in and of itself for many people.
