For me not USA. But they do have the worst Health Care system in the developed world.

U.S.A. Cuba's is way better then our's is. If you have ever seen the movie Sicko you know what i mean. Our's suck and in Cuba an Europe they laugh at us for being so behind in this area. It makes up for their other failures by far.

Just a note: without 'only' wedged in there, your disclaimer doesn't actually mean anything >.>
EDIT: Oh, does it say only?

...Crap.

I have no idea. I'm pretty sure there's a list out there, isn't there?

I'm sorry I forgot to add Antarctica.

While in Europe there are certainly differences between their health care systems, they are in a way rather similar. Beside, sooner or later the EC will have the same health care system for all its countries.

Sicko is propagandistic trash, several levels below such classics as Birth of a Nation, Lieutenant Kizhe, The Battleship Potemkin, Triumph of the Will, or The Eternal Jew.

The simple fact of the matter is, because of its inherently coercive nature socialized systems are barbaric and uncivilized, and the worship of the concept in some quarters is little more than a death cult--it is murder of the human spirit.

I'm not even sure if Cuba should be counted here. The country is messed up. It's like a race between a midget, a guy with no legs, and Usain Bolt.

Overall, their healthcare system was last rated, I believe, as right below us.

On the contrary - the fact that these systems, which rely to a large extent on goodwill, are not coercive, should give you a good idea of why the rest of the world hates you so much.

The midget. I still voted USA as the worst, though, because for such a large, rich country it should be doing much better.

Well, that depends on the type of government. But in a democracy, or something that resembles it, taxation would be and is, to an extent, in -your- hands as a voter.

Okay, let me inform you of the situation in Europe. Most European countries have excellent educational standards and relatively frequent elections, which means that if people were getting tired of the 50% taxation rate, they'd be more than capable of voting the government out of power. The fact that they nonetheless continue to elect these governments is probably best explained by the idea that they like such a high tax rate, because they understand where their tax dollars go and can see the results for themselves.

Unless I am the sole person who decides whether or not I individually am taxed, I am compelled to do so against my will, and therefore it is coercive.

It doesn't matter if I merely have a say in the matter, if 150 million other people do too. I have to have the only say in what happens with my money and property.

Eat it. If the world was an anarchic "paradise" then people who enjoy order and civility would be forced to forgo them. Until you can create your own little societies for every strain of politics, some people will be unhappy.

I shouldn't have to.

The sanctity and sovereignty of the individual and his property is a moral absolute, and no collective ever has any sort of morally legitimate authority to make any sort of claims upon them without his consent.

Don't like taxes? Get off that computer. Cancel your phone service. Pay six plus dollars a gallon for gasoline. Stop driving on paved roads. Don't watch TV. Cancel your electricity, water and gas (if you have it). Never go to the library. Never call emergency services. Don't vote. Homeschool your kids, if you have any. Buy only local grown produce. Never get mail. Don't want to do any, or some of the above? Then stop complaining about taxes, because they pay for all of that.
